Frequently asked questions
How do I find out how much you charge?
Give us a call on 07788 713213, or send us a message with some basic details and we will let you know if we're available, and provide you with a quote (which will be inclusive of our performance, DJ and any travel expenses).
How long do you play for?
Our standard performances are two one-hour sets, with a flexible interval. We can play as early or late as you like, and our DJ will fill in for the rest of the event.
Can you tailor your performance for my event?
We expect every wedding or function to be unique. We fit around your plans and work with you to make it a night to remember. We can also tailor our outfits to a theme, and we can wear seventies or eighties style clothes when requested.
Can you perform our favourite song?
Give us a couple of months' notice and we will aim to add requested songs to our repertoire, which could include the first dance at your wedding reception.
Do you use backing tracks?
Never. We offer a totally live, spontaneous experience.
How professional is Disco Inferno?
Disco Inferno have been performing together since 2001, in which time we've played at a wide range of venues including hotels, private parties and open-air festivals. Our years of experience together mean we're very professional on stage and booking us is simple.
Does Disco Inferno perform charity events?
Yes, we attend selected charity events for a reduced fee. Contact us and we'll let you know what we can do for you.
Do you have any limitations for where you'll perform?
We aim to accommodate all of your own needs, but there are a few simple limitations. We require an undercover venue (a marquee is great), a covered floor and two standard power sockets. Also, we recommend you check that your chosen venue does not have a sound level limiter installed, as this can sometimes affect what kind of entertainment you can have.
What do we need to provide for the band?
There is no outrageous list of requirements – when you book us, our focus is on giving you a top performance. We usually contact your chosen venue in advance, to check the logistics of arriving, unloading and setting up to avoid any fuss and disruption.
During the half a day the band spend with you, the ten members will require a simple meal, refreshments and somewhere secure to change and leave their personal belongings. These simple provisions enable the band to focus on giving their best performance. Please bear in mind that there are female and male members in the band.
